Another Day in Hell

So there have been two mass shootings in like a week here in hell the most recent one ending in the death of 28 people, 20 children, 6 adults, the shooters mom, and a suicide.  People really have gone insane here in hell.  I want to say that it seems like the old social order has gone or is fading away and people are desperately trying to find anything to replace it.  Some people go so crazy that they decide to just end it and go on a rampage.  Really what needs to happen is an establishment of a new social order.  However, no one is working on, or really knows what that should be.  Instead we are still trying to bring back the one that excised before.  Well I guess Hell must go on. 

Rise of the Golgari

So I have not posted in a while, there just has not been that much to talk about.  As of late I have been going with a golgari philosophy or what I like to call solo survival.  It feels good to be in the lone ranger shoes so to say.  To accompany this I have been playing skyrim as a werewolf.  If you get it really early in the game and don't level up too high it works quite well.  Really I still don't have that much to say just that I am liking the golgari philosophy.

It feels like I live in a place where people go to die or pass their life on for the sake of  their kids.  It is like death lives here where there is like nothing to do.  Which is fine for the my parents because they have chosen to have kids but for me it is boring as hell.  The problem is I am poor as hell.  So there is nothing I can do about it, not until I find something to move forward.  I don't know just that this place feels so dead.

The World System

Ok so their are three different types of systems that the world can be focused on military, economics, and I don't have good name for the third one so I am going to call it star treck.  It is possible that society could advance higher than the third world system but I would not have a clue of what that would be.  Our world currently works off a economic system.  The problem is that the order and cause behind it is broken.  This means that the world need a military coup of the system.  For that is what a military system is for.  It lays down the system of order on which the world works and creates a cause for the world to fight for.  Now what that order or cause should look like I have no idea.  After this the military would take a back seat and devote its time to making sure that the order and cause are maintained, and an economic system will take its place as the ruling force of humanity.  It is the job of the economic system to bring us to the point were resources are no longer a problem so we can get out of consumerism hell and move on to a better and brighter future of system 3.

Olympic Soccer

So Japan's women soccer is unable to beat the United States again they ended up with silver in the olympics.  I was really hopping for the repeat of the world cup on this one.  I think the biggest difference was the United States played much better this time then at the world cup.  Not to say that Japan did not play well.  That is really all I have to say right now.

People are weak

Holy crap some people just do not know how to deal with shit.  People have been going nuts after the shooting in Colorado.  If anything out of the ordinary happens people just do not know what to do.  They freak the fuck out.  Just calm down and wait for everyone to forget what happened like every other mass killing.  Not only can one not go to the movies and act a little weird anymore with out people fleeing but apparently this guy has created a stand alone complex.  There have been three arrests of other people who have sited this guy as inspiration.  The human mind is so fragile that people will just do what ever.  Why do you need someone else to do it first.  Just do it and get it over with.  And for the people freaking the fuck out calm the fuck down.  And as always you know what, GOOD!

Douche Bags

I believe that I have posted about douche bags before but some things just have to be brought up multiple times.  I just do not get douche bags.  Is their lives so bad that they have to try and make it worse for everyone else.  If your life is that bad that you have to try and bring other people down just do the world a favor and kill yourself.  Your life is not going to get better, I do not know what you are waiting for. 

Japan

So I got back from Japan yesterday and overall it was a worthwhile experience.  Obviously like every experience there are good and bad.  Things that could have gone better:
1.  The night life.  Because the subways close at midnight you have to get back to the place of your hotel before the trains close or sleep on the street, which from what I heard is not that uncommon.  So unless you are staying at a high priced hotel you have to try and find something nearby.  Also instead of having open bars you go to a bar in groups and get your own room.  This makes the night life difficult for visitors.
2.  The language beerier.  I feel that if I new the language the experience would have been better.  This was not really a negative as much as it was just that the experience could have been better if I knew the language.
3. Wi-Fi/IMessage.  In Japan all the Wi-Fi you have to sign up for.  If I would have known about this I would have done so.  This made it so I could not get a hold of the friend that I have who was living there, so we were unable to meet up.  Probably should have made some plans before we left.  Even when i found some Wi-Fi I could not get IMessage to work.  So I have a bone to pick with apple to understand what happened.

Things that went great:
1.  Asian women everywhere!  Yea that was great.  Though I did not get with one, see the bad stuff for an explanation.  Also I think because it was me and my brother, two 6' 4" Americans, I think we may have intimidated some people. 
2.  The anime and arcades.  There is anime everywhere.  Also a lot of which was One Piece.  That was awesome.  On the One Piece note Chopper is like the most popular character.  The arcades are way better there then the ones that we have in America.  The electronics district also known as Akihabara was awesome, and if anyone is interested in a maid cafe that is where you can find one it was awesome.  Out of all the arcades that we went to I think the one in Fukuoka was the best.

A Lot on the Mind

For those that did not know I have spent the last week doing family stuff in Chicago for a week.  Overall it was a good week.  It got me away from some shit that I did not like and was able to just do nothing.  Unlike some of the other people I know i do not have that many problems with my family on a non philosophical level.  It was also good to see some people that I have not seen in a while.  Most importantly it gave me some time to think about some stuff on my personal outlook on life. 

How is it that so many people are able to just live there life without any purpose.  Everyone is just content to live their life and gather resources and people.  That is all that the majority of humanity does.  I look at the way humanity lives and I wonder how it missed me,  for I am one of the few "awakened" people.  Its like out of random chance I awoke from the dream scape of reality only to realize that that humanity has no purpose.  A better way to say that would be that it lost its purpose somewhere along the way.  Its like humanity sat down to take a rest and was like hm this is kind of nice.  Why were we doing everything else before this.  Then some people got board and started to wonder away from the camp and the never came back.  The rest of humanity noticed this after it kept happening and then they started to warn people that tried to wonder.  So less people did, afraid that they might loose their meager existence of leisurely activities camp.  So humanity stopped moving and purpose and adventure was lost.  The only thing that humanity cares about now is their own personal pleasure. 

Which brings me to world problems.  Because I was in Chicago this past week i have heard a lot about the NATO meeting that has gone on here.  More specifically about the protests.  Really everyone is fucking stupid.  I hate everyone who is like the 1% or that they are pissed over college debt.  No one wants to take responsibilities of their own actions.  They are just like we have to worry about how to get the most out of or leisure activities as we can and this debt is slightly in the way of that.  You chose to go to college and get the useless degree in an expensive school stfu.  There were plenty of options that you could have chosen but you fell into the traps of society and got screwed.  Now you have to pay the price for your actions deal with it.  The problem is no one is smart enough or awake enough to see through the bullshit.  In our current society everyone is told to go to college.  The problem is that not everyone should be going to college.  Or that they go to college and get a useless degree where there is not a job market for or they spend to much money going to college and get a job that is not going to pay enough to pay off the debt they got.  Really this is just a small problem in the bigger picture.  The problem of purpose.  When humanity gave up purpose they later would decided to let people make their own decisions.  Along with that came ideas that government should be ruled by the people or representatives by the people.  This was a horrible idea.  All that the people need are bread and games and to be convinced that the purpose of the ruling is good for them as well.  The Greeks always said that democracy was the worst form of government and that a militaristic tyrannical dictator would be better.  This is because the people have no idea what they are doing are should be treated as such.  As for ditching purpose for luxury this was also a horrible idea.  The Romans always said that Luxos (Luxury) was the biggest sin of humanity.  And I am going to agree.  It is always easier to point out the problems of humanity than it is to solve them.  How to give humanity back its purpose and how to rule over the peasants is a hard one to fix and will take years of study to come up with an answer.

Some good and some bad.

When did life become the way that it currently is.  Was it always like this and I was just too occupied to see it.  I don't know if it is the current conditions or what but life just sucks right now.  Though I believe that there is hope out there.  Look at one of my friends.  He is currently in Japan doing what he wants to do.  I on the other hand have spent the last about six months doing nothing.  Now a break from the grind was useful but I probably should have done something to help myself move forward.  I really need get some of my shit together and figure some shit out.  Though this world is a gloomy place there is still some light out there that joy can be found.  Like the Avengers.  That movie rocked.  So even if the light is small it is out there and maybe just maybe some of us will be lucky enough to reach it.

A Kindred Spirt

So I have been reading Neverwinter 2 latley and there is one character that is like a copy of my soul. This would be Entreri also know as Barrabus the Grey. The warrior assassin with an internal struggle. How should one live the life they have and what is important. I am not going to go into the struggle if you want to know read all of the Drizzt books plus The Road of the Patriarch serious.

Pro Players STFU

I like it how pro players are "so good" that they do not know how to adapt to not having a team behind them. They just do not get that the game is completely different at a professional level than at the pub level. So when pro players try to pub they get their ass kicked. This leads to them getting pissed at everyone else on their team for not playing at a professional level, and it is never the fact that they do not know how to play without a team. If you are a pro player playing at pub level then shut the fuck up and just play the damn game.

A Baby, A Monster.

I am like the wolf in sheep's clothing. To the average sheep I look like and act like a sheep. But really I am a wolf to those that can truly see. What brought this on is I was playing League and once again I destroyed a game with Cho'gath. Went 10/2/15. Also I play a decent Trundle if I can lain without getting yelled at or jungle, this I do not do because I have no idea what to do if I get counter jungled. Makes me want to see how well I could play Kogmaw. Just a side note people who play normal blind pick seriously should be banded. They can play it seriously if they want but they should shut up about it. If you want to play league seriously play ranked or shut up. Likewise people who do not play ranked seriously should be band and stay out of rank. Anyways back to the main point my monstrosity. Really I fit in well with the monster crowd. When it came down to it I think I would be Gruul because i do not care enough about my own ambition or power to be black mana, and white and blue do not have enough monster in them. So I started this blog one hundred posts and about two years ago. If you look back things are quite the same. I would like to take you back to that first post where I posted some simple truths of the world. All of which still hold to this day. So here they are.
1. The answer is slash.
2. If you do not like sake then there is something wrong with you.
3. The world is a hell scape of doubt.
4. Listening to some people will get you hurt.
5. The only dependable thing about the future is uncertainty.
6. Life is a test.
7. Humans are horrible and hilarious things.

Not only does all of this still hold true when I started this blog I was playing Dragon Age. Which is where the answer is slash came from. Today I am playing Dragon Age 2. I have already restarted once because I did not like the theme/atmosphere of my first try. I am liking this one more than I liked the first. This current living condition is taxing me. With nothing to do I find myself spending money out of boredom. This is not healthy. Because I have nothing to do I find myself beating things and then going out and buying new things in order to fill up time that was once occupied. When I was in school I had that to distract me and could spend what free time I had playing league, slowly beating games, watching anime, reading manga, or hanging out with friends. Now that I have a shit tun of time I find myself with less to do. So I have to look for new things to do and that costs money. I guess I could put points into my future but it is hard to concentrate on that. In the mean time just going to have to find something to occupy my time.

Pain

For most people, pain is something that is supposed to tell a person that something is wrong. This creates a problem for me. I have a very high tolerance of pain. So something that normally would get a person to see a doctor, for me the same pain might not trigger the same response. This brings about both good and bad. On one hand pain does not slow me down. On the other you can have massive infections, that on a normal person would cause them to think hey I might need to see someone for this. Anyways the problem was fixed just at the right time before things got worse. So you know what good.

Gunslinger Girl

So I was in the mood to watch an anime and I chose Gunslinger Girl because it was easily available and it looked interesting. Usually I will read a manga but this time around I was in the mood for an anime. When it comes to anime verses manga both have the advantages and disadvantages. What anime has over manga is sound and motion. Manga on the other hand takes up less time and really accessible. Also most animes are adapted from manga so they will change the story in certain places to make it into a better anime. One thing that pisses me off is when they will put out an anime and then put out basically the same anime but change it to follow the manga. Looking at you Full Metal alchemists. Not that Brotherhood was bad it is just annoying to have one version of the anime and then to have to get another because they can make more money. Why not just do it right the first time and save everyone the trouble. Anyway back to the point Gunslinger Girl. Overall I would say it was a good anime. I liked the concept and the development and how they showed different angles to the program. It was worth the one time watch.

Sanity?

So there has been a lack of sanity in the group lately and it looks like for me that things should get back to the disciplined self. When divination gets out of hand things tend to go wrong. It is not that I do not like the concept of gruul or red I just need to get a better understanding of what that answer meant with out loosing the essence of my own soul. Really I think once again that it means to avoid good and evil. Not to lose myself to emotion. It is important to consider emotion in the process of living life but to go to far and be an indulgent ass, one will lose themselves to the madness.

Anyways going to be spending some time playing Fire Emblem. From what I have heard a lot of people did not like the one for the game cube but I am going to give this one a second shot. This is because I am a huge Fire Emblem fan and the only other thing I have to do is dick around on Star Wars and League. I did not play through it the first time because I did not like the fact it was on a counsel. I still think that Fire Emblem belongs on a hand held but because I like the franchise so much I will play this one through and if I can find the one for the Wii I will beat that one as well.

Update of Fate

So I did some divination and I am on team red. This should have been obvious because when I did this I had three people with a red represented. After the color was decided I looked into what guild I was in and it is Gruul. Let the barbarism commence. Like the esteemed Borborygmos would say crush them we eat.

Time

With nothing going on in my life I have lost all concepts of time. What used to be a decent sleep schedule has turned to going to bed at 4-5 in the morning and waking up at 1 which gives me enough time to eat and shower on the days that I go to work. If I have no work then all bets are off. So due to the lack of shit going on I end up doing nothing but shit all day. Idk without at least the illusion of something that I am living for this is how things turn out. Bullshit and indulgence. I do not want to get another job because it would hinder my plans of vacationing in the summer but yet I am so sick of my current job that I know I need to get a new one. So yea this is how things are currently going. On the other hand my current character in Skyrim is in a full set of legendary dragon bone with a legendary dedric war axe. The only way I can get better gear is if I were to do enchanting. Also I can take on armies. So I guess the Bullshit has lead to something.

The Lizardman

So I had a look at the new Spiderman movie they are puting out and they are bringing in the Lizardman. This vilian rocks. He is just like yo I'm a lizard. Don't know if I care to see the movie but just putting it out there.

An Up Date from the Devine

So I did some divining to look into the current themes and ideas that I have. To do this I set up matches between both Link and Toon Link for I did not know which would better represent the atmosphere. In both cases both good and evil were eliminated first so it came down to a battle between red and for lack of a better term lawful neutral. For Toon Link lawful Neutral won, and for Link red won. after these battles I put them up against each other on final destination and Toon Link won. This lead to a couple of conclusions. One with the early elimination of both good and evil in both matches tells me to stay away from these concepts. It is better to be neutral than either one of these. Also pure emotion won a match. Which for me has not happened in a long time. So my current plan of action seems to be approved.

So I have been playing a lot of league lately and I I think I am going to focus on four characters: Maokai, Reninton, Nasus, and Taric. This gives me two tanks one of wich is also a support. An ap off tank. and an ad off tank. It is not to say that I will not play other characters. But these are the characters I tend to do well with consistantly. The only one I would not be able to solo top with is Taric.

The Selesnyan Conclave 2

The Selesnyan Conclave continues this weekend this time it is Wind Waker. I love this game. Now what makes this game would be the music and the atmosphere. It probably has my favorite atmosphere and Zelda music is always great. Plus has some great random characters.

Questions that Cannot be Answered

You ever find yourself asking questions that cannot be answered. Sometimes this hits me very hard and the results are weird thoughts and nights. The only thing that seems to work is to distract yourself with shit till the time passes. Well anyways you know what good!

A View Into the Life of Another

So after our failed attempt to watch Lord of the Rings successful me and one of my other friend in order to regain the night started to play Super Metroid. After six hours of game play over two nights we beat it. It was quite the enjoyable experience. It also gave me a look into how my friend lives part of his life and I must say it is not that bad. I can see the appeal to just sitting there and doing what ever because the lack of responsibility. We now have the plan of beating all of the rest of the Metroid series and the Zelda series that are available on council, and what ever other games may come up. Let us see where this adventure leads us.

Skyward Sword

So after what looked to be two days of play time turned out to last one more day than I thought it would but Skyward Sword has been beaten. Overall it was great. This one was really well done. It was much harder and longer than Twilight Princess, which is what needed to happen. Not that Twilight Princess was bad. It had a really good storyline. It was just too short and too easy. Anyways that is not the point of this post. So what were the pros and cons. One thing that I liked was it did a really good job with integrating new things but still keeping the classic Zelda atmosphere. One of my favorites was the time shift zones. That was really interesting. One of the things that I did not like was there was no blunt two handed weapon. Instead they give you a sling shot and a bug net. I guess the sling shot was needed because they did not give you like any other ranged weapon until the end of the game. This was another thing I did not like. At least give me the bow or the claw shot early. This would allow for an open space of the blunt object. Also I hated the music system in this one. I have like rhythm and suck at those music games so this was a pain in the ass. Also sometimes you would loose the connection so you would stop playing and this would fuck you up and if not force you to fail fall behind. Another thing was Groose was a hilarious side character. At first I thought he was just going to be that weak rival that was not the main character but wanted to be but they turned him around and did a good job with it. I mean just look at him. Badass. Anyway overall I would say it was great. Here is to looking forward to the next installment of Zelda.

An Ill Omen

So just did some divination and turns out the anti-hero ranger walks a path of evil. When I was doing the heavy combatant things turned out good or lawful. I have not gotten the evil answer in a long time. It makes sense me in the wood would kill who ever the fuck and do what ever it wanted. This would be compared to the heavy combatant who participates in battle. It seems as though without society I would turn to evil like that. And if anyone reads this who does not know the source of our divination fuck yourself. Idk we will see how things go it might be that the ranger phase ends once I beat Skyward Sword.

Ranks of Armor

There needs to be more games that have medium armor as a skill. The way I think it works is that for the overpowering combatant there is heavy armor. This is the player that will charge in take the hits and then hit you really hard. Then there is the mobile combatant. This is where medium armor should be used. If you are the type that like to move a lot during combat medium armor is for you. They need medium armor because it allows one to dodge and because they are still in combat they need something in case they get hit. The third type of armor is light. This armor serves no combat purposes and is meant for out of combat utility. Light armor is for non magical non combat classes. If your a rogue sneaking you cannot wear heavy or medium because it makes too much noise. You need light armor because it makes it easier to move through brush, and climb shit. The only problem is a lot of games do not have medium armor. So if it is a decision as a movement based combatant you have to look into which armor gives you the most mobility. If there is no difference than pick heavy.

Status Update

I have not blogged in a while so I feel like writing about what has been going on even though the people who read this already know. Anyway I feel like adding some commentary. First thing is I am on a ranger binge. This is due to Skyward Sword and Skyrim. Whenever I play a Zelda game it usually means that I am on a ranger binge or will put me in the mood to do one. This does not really make sense because Link is a master of all martial skills not just a ranger. I guess he looks more like a ranger because he is an elf and uses a bow and is in chain which depending on which game counts as light, or medium armor. On the other had he uses a heavy shield which is definitely says warrior. As for Skyward itself I have one more flame to get and then what I would assume the final battle/dungeon. Over all I like the game they changed and added a lot of mechanics and still had the classic Zelda feel to it. Also it is harder and longer than Twilight Princess. Somethings I did not like was the bow and hookshot are the last too weapons you get. This is way to long for classic Zelda items. Also there was no huge blunt object to hit people with. This is a classic that they left out.

Now lets move on to Skyrim. I would say would be roughly half way through this game. This is a hard game to judge how much progress you have made in the game because there is a large amount of it that is optional quest lines. So you have to make a decision on what quests lines you want to do. However the reason that it has put me on a ranger binge is because of the skills/play style I am using. That is two handed, bows, and light armor. I did this combination because I wanted to test a play style and it ended up not going the way I intended and by the time I figured that out I did not feel like rerolling. In the end once you get stagger on bows and movement speed perks in light armor you can kite anything very easily. This helped push me into a ranger phase. As for the game one problem is that the thing the game is supposed to be about, dragons, are way to easy to kill. The tactic I use was run up to its flak and hit it with a two handed axe. I have only gotten one dragon that actually turns so this works very well. Even when it turned it did not do that much damage. The only time that they did that much damage was magic damage otherwise they fly around doing random crap then they land and I run up to its flank and hit it. But Elder Scrolls has never really had that great of an AI system anyways and is more about the emersment. For that I am a racist redgaurd because fuck everyone else. One more thing that I hate. Why the fuck can you not climb mountains anymore. I mean what is this a return to Guild Wars where you could not fucking climb a slight slope. If you do not want people to climb up mountains than fill it with things that are hard to kill to discourage them and make people want to take the path instead.

This brings me to my next topic Ao no Exorcists. I started reading this a couple days ago out of Borden and because I heard it was good. To me it seemed like your typical battle manga, I would give it a 3 out of 5. It is not like it is bad but it is not great either. There was nothing that made it stand out. It is the simple formula of protagonists that has powers that no one else does with some side characters. One of which is a Yoko nock off, and another that is a hilarious fop. It gets great revues but apparently the anime sucked. Also it seemed that the drawing was not quite there yet. So I looked up the artists and it is done by a women, which seemed weird to me because the characters that seem to need the most work are the female ones. She has done a 5 volume piece and a couple of one shots before this. So she is fairly new to the game. Hopefully she continues to work and improve and puts out another piece after she is done with this one.

The End of the Year

2011 is done and the stats are in. 15 bottles of Tyku Black and 4 bottles of Tyku Liqueur for the total of 19 bottles of Tyku. Lets see how much we can drink in 2012.
